The Province of Manitoba Health Care system does not cover fees for psychological services. However, many individuals have extended health care coverage through their employer’s benefits package or a private extended health insurance plan.

To understand your coverage:

• Review your benefits brochure: This document should outline the coverage you have for clinical psychology services.
• Check for referral requirements: Some plans may require a referral from your family doctor to be eligible for reimbursement.
• Inquire about family coverage: Often, extended health plans extend coverage to spouses and children.
• Tax considerations: Depending on your total eligible medical expenses for the year, these fees may be claimable as a medical expense on your income tax return.

Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, cheque, Visa, and MasterCard. You will receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
